Biographies:
 

Civic Award Honoring Deceased Members of Columbia Fire Company:

Bangor Area High School: Leena Pintande - Leena resides in East Bangor, Pa. and during her four years at Bangor Area, has pursued a vigorous academic schedule including Honors and Advanced Placement Classes. Leena is the current president of the Leo Club and member of the Student Government Association. She is also a member of the Girls Tennis Team. Leena will be attending Temple University to major in Psychology College in the fall.

Faith Christian School: Jonathan Hall - Jonathan is the son of Mrs. Diane Hall of Nazareth, PA. While at Faith, Jonathan was involved with many Community Service projects including Covenant United Methodist where he’s participating in Vacation Bible School, Leaf Clean-up and Snow Removal and helped build a ramp for the handicapped. In 2014 he participated in Student Life Philly where he helped remove old cots and rebuild new cots while working with a homeless shelter. In 2015 he participated in Fence Building, Roof Repair, Picnic Table and Bench Construction in Kentucky. Since 2016 he has been involved at Stroudsburg Wesleyan with the Food Pantry, Clothing Sorting and Distribution, Homeless outreach and prayer and disinfecting homeless shelter mats. In 2017 he began working with the Bath Area Food Bank and continues today. His school activities include Student Council, Senior Class Chaplin, Office Assistant, Teachers Assistant at Faith Elementary, Operation Christmas Child, Bearing Precious Seed and Faith Serves. From the staff at Faith, Jonathan can always be counted on to say "yes" whenever he is asked for help. Jonathan will be attending DeSales University for Exploratory Studies in the fall.
